Author's note

Rudelsberg Alternate, digitized by Dieter Steffmann from Otto Eckmann's design, is a free Art Nouveau display font with sweeping, blade-like curves. Pointed tips keep the organic shapes slightly unruly.

Poster titles are its strongest role, especially for historical exhibitions, fantasy events, or music packaging built around turn-of-the-century ornament. In branding, the lettering can become part of an emblem itself, with its hooked contours supplying the product identity rather than acting as neutral text.
