Author's note

Rudelsberg-Titel by Dieter Steffmann of Typographer Mediengestaltung is a free medieval display font with an unusually fluid silhouette. Broad, swelling strokes narrow abruptly into sharp, hooked tips, giving the letters a carved yet lively appearance. The forms are tall and dramatic.

Castles, folklore, and old-world ceremony make a convincing setting for book covers, festival posters, and game graphics. The same tall, flame-tipped forms suit themed packaging, linking all four uses through a theatrical view of the Middle Ages.
