Author's note

Runic Alt by Dmitry Dervenjov and Nikolay Dubina is a free runic dingbat font built from tall, hand-drawn symbols. Its spare strokes form sharp forks, hooks, and crossing lines, with slight irregularities that make the marks resemble inscriptions cut or painted by hand rather than polished geometric icons.

A fantasy game interface is the clearest setting for these signs, where they can label maps, magical objects, or clan emblems as part of the artwork. They also suit historical-themed posters and merchandise, especially when the design calls for an invented alphabet with a stark, ancient-looking edge rooted in runic imagery and ritual symbolism.
