Rustic Capitals by Jerry Landers of MouserFonts is a free calligraphic caps display font with a rough, hand-cut silhouette. Broad curves break into thin pointed strokes, and the uneven forms resemble writing made with a loaded brush or quill. The finish is raw and theatrical.
It is strongest on fantasy book covers, where jagged contours can echo swords, branches, and woodcut illustration. That rough elegance also suits folk music posters and labels for craft drinks. In each setting, the shifting stroke weight connects historical subject matter with handmade production.
