Author's note

Salty by Frode Nordbø of Norwegian Ink is a free outlined techno display font with broad, squared forms and a stark industrial profile. Sharp notches, open joins, and clipped diagonals interrupt the otherwise solid geometry. Dense silhouettes alternate with fine linear contours, and wedge-shaped gaps give the lettering a striking cutaway effect.

For electronic music posters and game graphics, its severe angles suggest machinery and digital interfaces rather than conventional type. The same architectural construction also suits streetwear branding and event signage, especially for science-fiction or cyberpunk themes with an engineered edge.
