Samson Thin, by Meir Sadan, is a free bitmap caps font with a blunt, early-screen attitude. The letters are built from chunky square steps and broad rectangular openings, giving the alphabet a steady arcade-era rhythm that feels more graphic than futuristic.
That makes it a natural pick for game titles, poster headlines, mixtape covers, zines, and title cards where a short line needs that blocky digital beat. This is actually the English version of a Hebrew font that's gonna be released in my upcoming hebrew site, oketz.com. I really like it, it's all buff 'n' stuff.
Samson's that big, strong guy from the bible. There's a story there about how he beat an entire army with a donkey's cheek. In my opinion, they've gone a little kooky at that point, but who am I to say something.
