Author's note

Sans Poster Bold 3D JL, designed by Jeffrey N. Levine, is a free three-dimensional display font built from massive block capitals, with sharp joins, broad faces, and a hard offset shadow that makes each letter look cut from a solid sign. Its silhouette is blunt, compact, and emphatically architectural.

Poster design is its natural medium, especially for event advertising, sports graphics, and entertainment campaigns that benefit from lettering reminiscent of painted storefront signs or dimensional marquee panels. It can also shape merchandise and venue signage, but the clearest use is a poster headline whose deep shadow becomes part of the graphic rather than a separate effect.
