Author's note

Sans Serif Bld FLF Italic by Richard A. Ware is a free bold italic sans serif with broad strokes and a pronounced forward lean. Rounded curves and clipped diagonal endings give the lettering a brisk, compact silhouette, with lowercase forms tucked closely beneath the capitals.

Its sweeping slant echoes speed lines and angled shapes in sports graphics, making it a convincing fit for team merchandise, racing posters, and game interfaces. It can also shape energetic fitness branding, where the dense letters feel sturdy and immediate and the repeated diagonals can become part of badges, stripes, or motion-based illustration.
