Author's note

Santa Carla Black by Kirk Shelton is a free techno display font built from steep diagonals and broad, sharply cut strokes. Its leaning letterforms feel fast and engineered, with triangular inner spaces and clipped joins repeating across the caps.

Motorsport and futuristic machinery are the clearest themes for this aggressive geometry. It can shape racing posters, game graphics, sports merchandise, and vehicle branding, especially when the lettering needs to echo speed lines or angular bodywork. The font is likely to suit audiences drawn to arcade racing, modified cars, and hard-edged science fiction.
