Author's note

SBib Slav by Yegor Nachinkin is a free Cyrillic display font with a clear Old Slavonic, church-book mood. The letters mix broad, calligraphic curves with simpler upright forms, so the font feels part manuscript initial, part inscription, with those looping shapes doing most of the talking.

That makes it a natural fit for book covers, cultural posters, festival branding, historical title cards, and short editorial headings where a free font can carry a distinctly Slavic, liturgical accent. It also works well for monograms and drop caps, since the larger curved letters have an ornamental sweep that gives even very short setting a ceremonial tone.
