Scoreboard Generic by Woody Barnes of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free dot-matrix display font built from evenly sized circular lights. Its rounded letterforms use open gaps and repeated bulb-like points, recalling stadium scoreboards and early electronic signs without relying on rigid rectangular pixels.
Creating an electronic display is its strongest role, making it useful for sports event graphics, arcade game interfaces, and music merchandise with a concert-stage theme. In editorial design, the same lit-bulb construction turns magazine section openers or feature titles about games, live entertainment, and technology into part of their subject rather than neutral lettering.
