Author's note

Scratch Corrosion by TomoAlien of FSI FontShop International GmbH is a free distressed handwritten display font with thin, broken strokes. Its wavering outlines and scattered gaps resemble lettering scratched into a worn surface rather than smoothly drawn with ink. The forms feel wiry and unstable.

It is most convincing on horror film posters, where the damaged lines can suggest decay, unease, or corrupted film stock. Album artwork and game graphics also suit its raw, abrasive texture, especially for industrial, punk, or survival themes. In merchandise designs, the letters can become part of a scraped emblem or weathered graphic.
