Scrawled Mess by Ben Coward is a free trash-style script font with the raw look of hurried marks cut into a surface. Its letters break into jagged strokes, splinters, and stray scratches, shifting abruptly between dense areas and hairline fragments. The uneven forms look agitated and deliberately damaged.
It can turn a title into part of the artwork, especially for punk posters, horror game graphics, and abrasive music merchandise. In magazine spreads or album packaging, the fractured lettering can echo torn paper, scratched photography, and distressed collage, suiting editorial themes of disorder or unease.
