SCREAM by rkidd of FontShop International GmbH is a free futuristic stencil display font built from broad rectangular strokes and sharply squared letterforms. Repeated horizontal cuts divide the letters into stacked blocks, and the tight openings, blunt corners, and rigid geometry recall the harsh, low-resolution look of an early computer interface.
It is particularly convincing on electronic music posters and album covers. Technology brands and science-fiction game studios can carry the same modular forms into event merchandise, using them to echo arcade hardware, control panels, and industrial interfaces for audiences with a taste for stark digital graphics.
