Author's note

ScriptSERIF by Manuel Viergutz is a free decorative display font with the cut-and-paste look of mismatched printed type. Tall, narrow, broad, and undersized serif forms make the silhouette deliberately uneven. Rough black panels, chipped edges, and scratched interiors give the lettering a heavily photocopied finish.

Designers working in punk, protest, or underground music contexts will find its restless construction especially useful. It can turn gig posters and record sleeves into part of the artwork, echoing handmade collage and ransom-note typography. Editorial covers and streetwear graphics also suit the battered print texture and abrupt shifts in scale.
