Serial Sue by JJW van der Ham of JOEBOB graphics is a free handwritten font with the urgency of broad felt-tip lettering. Its strokes shift sharply between thick swipes and fine, pointed turns. The uneven forms feel fast and raw.
Music culture makes it a lively fit for gig posters and album artwork. Its rough edges also suit skate merchandise and independent fashion packaging. There, the lettering can become a brand signature rather than a neutral label.
