Author's note

Serif72 Bold by Stefan Hattenbach of MAC Rhino is a free high-contrast display serif with broad, dark curves and hairline-thin joins. Sharp, flat serifs and rounded ball endings give the lettering a poised, formal silhouette.

Its Didone-like elegance makes a convincing fit for fashion publishing and luxury packaging. The dramatic stroke changes also suit gallery posters and refined hospitality branding. In editorial design, it can give magazine covers and feature openers the crisp authority of a classic masthead.
