Author's note

Seriface 2.0, created by Gene Buban of FontStruct, is a free high-contrast display serif with a stark, carved appearance. Broad upright strokes meet fine joins and pointed triangular cuts, producing caps that recall sharpened inscriptional forms without copying a traditional face.

Packaging gives its crisp silhouette an immediate role. It suits fragrance boxes and fashion labels, as well as magazine covers and theatrical posters that benefit from its severe elegance. Those recurring wedge-shaped openings can echo folded paper, blades, or rays in surrounding artwork, tying the type directly to the subject.
