Servus Text Display by David Engelby is a free high-contrast serif font with tall, poised letters and pronounced shifts between broad strokes and hairline details. Fine, pointed serifs and gently modeled curves make the design formal and slightly theatrical.

In publishing, it lends distinction to literary covers, magazine mastheads, and feature openers. Fashion packaging is another convincing setting.
