Author's note
Sexything Bold Italic, designed by Xavier Puig, is a free retro display font with a wiry, hand-drawn slant. Its letters mix narrow straight strokes with broad curves, creating lively changes in weight and a slightly unruly silhouette. Long sweeping tails and clipped stroke ends sharpen the otherwise fluid construction.
Cabaret and offbeat romance suit its restless lettering. It suits nightclub posters, boutique packaging, and editorial cover lines, where its exaggerated motion can suggest a knowingly theatrical voice. Against portraits or loose ink illustration, the extended strokes can echo strands of hair, ribbons, or gestural drawing.
