SF Avondale SC Inline Italic, designed by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry, is a free old-school inline display font rooted in athletic lettering. Its tall, slanted caps combine slab serifs, broad strokes, and a fine inset line. The layered edges sharpen the varsity look.

It turns a team emblem or event title into stadium signage. Sports merchandise and music posters also suit its forward lean and dense construction. The inset stripe links these uses by making each letter a badge.
