SF Covington Exp Bold by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry is a free high-contrast serif display font with broad letterforms and sharp slab-like serifs. Its changing stroke widths give the lettering a crisp, engraved bite.

Its nineteenth-century poster flavor suits event graphics and theatrical entertainment branding. The sturdy silhouette also fits book covers and heritage packaging with a strong period voice.
