Author's note

SF Covington SC Italic by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry is a free condensed Didone-style serif font. Its sharply slanted caps combine very thin hairlines with broad strokes and crisp wedge-like serifs. Tall, narrow proportions give the lettering a formal, fashion-led silhouette.

The Didone influence suits fashion publishing, perfume packaging, and theater posters, where elegant drama matters more than softness. In a magazine masthead or luxury label, its stretched curves and sweeping diagonals can become part of the emblem itself.
