Author's note

SF Covington Shadow Italic by ShyFoundry is a free shadowed italic serif with tall, narrow letters and pronounced thick-thin strokes. A solid offset shadow follows the slanting forms, giving their sharp serifs and open interiors the punch of vintage show-card lettering.

Spectacle is its natural subject. The lettering can carry poster headlines, event graphics, product packaging, and merchandise, especially for designs drawing on racing, western display type, or theatrical promotion. Its doubled silhouette can also become part of an illustration, echoing banners, cut-paper signs, or layered dimensional artwork.
