SF Digital Readout Light Oblique, designed by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry, is a free segmented digital display font with the clipped strokes of an electronic readout. Its lean letters are assembled from separated bars, with angled ends that sharpen the breaks between each segment. The oblique stance keeps the forms moving forward.
Circuit diagrams and glowing screen graphics share its electronic geometry, making it useful for game interfaces and technology posters. On album packaging or motorsport merchandise, the slanted construction suggests speed and machine-made precision without relying on extra decoration. It can turn labels and figures into interface components, as if the lettering belongs to a dashboard, timer, or control panel.
