Author's note

SF Digital Readout Light by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry is a free light digital display font modeled on segmented electronic readouts. Its strokes break into squared bars with small gaps at each joint. The slim construction feels spare and technical.

An instrument-panel interface is its strongest setting, especially for timers, meters, and status displays. The same electronic structure also suits arcade game graphics and science-fiction posters, where the lettering can suggest a device rather than ordinary type. Those repeated gaps are central to the effect, turning each letter into a sequence of illuminated segments.
