SF Distant Galaxy Alternate by ShyFoundry is a free sci-fi display font with the blunt, cinematic feel of retro space-age movie lettering. The caps are wide, heavy, and smooth on the outside, then sliced with sharp inner cuts that make each letter feel machined, compact, and a little ominous.
It fits naturally in poster titles, game logos, streaming thumbnails, album covers, and title cards where a short line needs that futuristic blocky pull. As a free font, it also works well for chapter openers or monograms, because the letters read like solid emblems rather than plain text.
