Author's note

SF Groove Machine Bold by ShyFoundry is a free groovy display font with the thick, rubbery swagger of 1970s record sleeves and custom van lettering. The caps lean on heavy vertical mass, rounded corners, and tight inner cuts, giving the alphabet a squashed, rolling rhythm that feels more funky than futuristic.

It fits music posters, retro branding, club flyers, album packaging, and title cards where a short line needs a big, chunky silhouette. As a free font, it also makes sense for logos, cover lines, and monogram-like initials, because the letters lock together into bold shapes instead of reading as neutral display type.
