Author's note

SF Groove Machine Upright, from ShyFoundry, is a free groovy caps display font with a heavy, soft-cornered seventies attitude. The letters feel carved from thick black shapes, with tight curves, squared openings, and a low-slung, funky rhythm that gives the alphabet a poster-ready disco pulse.

It fits music flyers, retro packaging, nightclub branding, festival posters, cover lines, and title cards where a few big words need that chunky vintage swing. As a free font, it also works nicely for monograms or short logos, because the caps lock together into bold silhouettes rather than reading like a neutral display set.
