SF Viper Squadron Solid Italic by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry is a free futuristic display font with broad, sharply slanted capitals. Long diagonal cuts and pointed joins give the lettering an aerodynamic profile. Rounded outer curves soften the dense forms.
Game graphics are a natural medium for its spacecraft-like angles, especially racing interfaces and science-fiction title cards. The same forward lean suits motorsport merchandise and event posters, where the letters imply speed before imagery appears.
