Shadowed Serif, by J. Fordyce, is a free Western 3D display font with the big, poster-style swagger of old saloon lettering. The letters are broad and heavy, with bracketed serif forms and a bright inner highlight set against a deep side shadow, giving the alphabet that carved, signboard depth common to frontier-era show type.
It fits naturally in rodeo posters, whiskey labels, festival flyers, title cards, and vintage-themed packaging where a free font needs some theatrical bulk without turning cartoonish. Because the shadowing is built into the letters, it also works well for short headlines, cover lines, and monogram-style initials that need an instant old West cue.
