Author's note

Shapes, created by Ned of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free geometric dingbat font of stark, symmetrical robot and spacecraft symbols. Angular bodies combine diamonds, triangles, dots, and squared frames.

A science fiction game or electronic music label could use these compact marks as a recognizable set of insignia. Their modular construction also suits poster graphics, merchandise badges, and futuristic packaging, where the symbols can function as emblems rather than ordinary lettering. The font is most convincing when its mechanical figures become part of a fictional world.
