Author's note

Sho-Card Caps NF by Nick Curtis of Nick's Fonts is a free outlined cartoon display font built from towering block capitals with softly rounded corners and very tight joins. Broad inner spaces, squared curves, and a deep offset shadow give the lettering the punch of hand-painted show cards or vintage fairground signs, with every word forming a dense, irregular-edged silhouette.

Posters are its strongest setting, especially for comedy nights, wrestling events, and carnival promotions that benefit from lettering with a loud, theatrical edge. The same brash construction can shape merchandise graphics and entertainment branding aimed at audiences drawn to retro spectacle, arcade art, and larger-than-life performers.
