Author's note

Showcase by Joshua Brooks is a free retro display font with the towering, tightly compressed profile of grand Art Deco theater lettering and machine-age exhibition posters. Rounded arches soften its rigid vertical strokes.

Posters and event graphics make particularly good use of its compressed width, as the lettering turns dense theatrical titles into tall, slender architectural bands that echo stage curtains, columns, and old cinema facades. On music packaging, venue signage, and retro nightlife branding, the repeated arches and long upright lines recall illuminated marquees, making display lettering tied to performance and spectacle the font's clearest and most convincing role.

Showcase is my most recent font. It includes lowercase letters and additional symbols, which I have included for the first time.
