Author's note

Si LuNcai Italic by Cenz Qobbal is a free condensed sans serif with a pronounced rightward slant. Its extremely tall, narrow letters use sharp joins and dramatic changes in stroke width. The result is sleek and restless.

Posters are an apt medium for this lettering, since its stretched proportions recall fast-paced retro fashion graphics. It also suits album covers, event programs, and apparel prints, where the long diagonals can echo rays or stripes.
