Author's note

SIAS font by Andreas Stoetzner is a free Chinese-inspired display font built from stark geometric strokes and emblem-like letterforms. Round cutouts and abrupt angles give the forms a pictographic quality.

Chinese sign painting and modern graphic symbols meet in lettering suited to cultural event posters, restaurant branding, experimental editorial covers, and bold festival merchandise. Its strongest role is in poster design, where the repeated circles, bars, and enclosed shapes can read almost like a set of compact illustrated marks.
