Author's note

Silkscreen is a free bitmap caps font with a blunt, early-screen presence. The letters are built from chunky square pixels and generous gaps, giving the font a dry, grid-snapped rhythm that feels rooted in old interfaces and low-resolution signage rather than polished retro pastiche.

That makes this free font a natural choice for game menus, zines, poster headlines, title cards, and compact wordmarks where a crisp pixel texture does the talking. It also works well for labels, chapter openers, and short UI-flavored headings, because the blocky caps keep every word feeling deliberate and neatly modular.
