Simply Square by Jeffrey N. Levine is a free geometric display font built from tall, narrow capitals. Straight strokes, squared curves, and abrupt diagonal cuts give the lettering a severe machine-made profile. The forms are stark and economical.
Its gridlike construction connects with circuit diagrams, modular patterns, and angular graphics. This suits technology posters, electronic music artwork, game interfaces, and electronics packaging. In interfaces, the letters can become part of a control panel rather than neutral text.
