SketchBoards, credited to Character and based on Mike Artell's 1999 Awesome Alphabets, is a free hand-drawn outlined display font. Its angular letters look assembled from rough timber scraps, with uneven edges, doubled contour lines, knots, and quick diagonal grain marks inside each letter.
Those plank shapes connect directly with rustic illustration, turning lettering into part of the scenery on children's activity books, camp posters, and game graphics. The approachable construction also suits toy packaging and classroom materials aimed at young audiences who respond to drawing, building, and outdoor adventure themes.
