Sketched Out, by S. Roland Frantz, is a free hand-drawn serif caps display font with a loose, storybook bite. The letters feel lightly sketched with uneven outlines, pinched joins, and flared wedge-like tips that make the old-style serif structure feel wiry rather than formal.
It suits poster titles, book jackets, theater programs, packaging, and editorial cover lines where a free font can bring an illustrative, slightly antique mood without turning quaint. Because the caps are narrow and airy instead of bulky, it also works well for title cards, drop caps, and short monograms that need character without too much weight.
