Author's note

Skir Oblique by Neale Davidson is a free futuristic sans serif with a broad, forcefully slanted stance. Its low, stretched letters combine rounded outer curves with sharp diagonal cuts and wedge-like joins. The result feels fast and mechanical, with the compact vertical profile recalling motorsport graphics.

Digital graphics are its clearest home. The lettering suits racing interfaces, automotive branding, and sports merchandise because its lean suggests speed before any illustration is added. In a game interface, the words can become part of the dashboard treatment rather than neutral labeling.
