Skuntch, by S. John Ross, is a free eroded caps display font with a raw, hand-cut look. The letters feel torn and blotted at the edges, mixing ragged brushlike strokes with uneven verticals that give the whole font a scrappy, almost punk poster mood.
It fits naturally in horror flyers, zine covers, garage-band artwork, title cards, and short poster headlines where a clean finish would feel too polite. As a free font, Skuntch works best in brief bursts - the rough rhythm of the caps gives logos, chapter openers, and monogram-like initials a weathered, improvised bite.
