Author's note

Sky by Cloutierfontes is a free eroded display font with broad, weighty capitals, blunt curves, and a dense poster-like silhouette. Fine diagonal scratches cut repeatedly across the letter shapes, and rough lower edges give the forms a torn, restless finish.

Music posters are its strongest setting, since the scratched surface recalls battered gig flyers and distressed album covers. It also fits streetwear branding and skate merchandise. For editorial design, the slashed texture can turn a magazine opener or culture feature into part of the imagery itself rather than neutral lettering.
