Author's note

Slaughterhouse by Thomas W. Otto of Norfok Inc. is a free high-contrast display serif with the dramatic poise associated with fashion lettering. Massive upright strokes and pointed serifs give the letters an imposing silhouette.

It is strongest in fashion publishing, where its sculptural capitals can turn a magazine title or full-page section opener into part of the art direction. The same sharp glamour fits fragrance packaging, theatrical posters, and modern luxury branding, but its clearest editorial role is setting a dark, extravagant voice for stories about couture, performance, or nightlife.
