Author's note

Slave by Vladimir Nikolic is a free Gothic initials font with a stern blackletter mood and an engraved, emblem-like presentation. The letters are narrow, angular, and sharply cut, with heavy vertical stress set inside repeated geometric frames that make each initial feel more like a signet or chapter mark than ordinary display lettering.

It fits book covers, poster headings, certificate names, branding marks, and title cards where a single letter or short word can carry a medieval, heraldic tone. As a free font, it also makes sense for drop caps, monograms, and packaging badges, since the built-in framed treatment gives even a brief setting a self-contained, ornamental presence.
