Slits Bold by Max Clayton Clowes of FontStruct is a free geometric stencil display font built from broad, rounded forms sliced by crisp horizontal gaps. Its dense, low-slung letters resemble stacked bands with a smooth, machine-cut finish and strong curves at the outer edges.
That banded construction can echo striped patterns and modular icons. This makes it especially apt for electronic music posters, futuristic merchandise, and game interface graphics, where type can double as an illustrated screen element. Technology branding and sportswear packaging can use the rounded segments as a recognizable product mark with an engineered, compact character across labels and tags.
