SLSquiggles by Su Lucas is a free ornamental calligraphy font drawn with sweeping, uneven strokes and tightly coiled spiral curls that dominate each letter. Its rounded forms look lively and handmade.
Botanical and fairy-tale themes are a natural match for lettering that resembles curling tendrils. It can shape invitations and fantasy book covers, or lend a whimsical flourish to boutique packaging and theatrical posters. Across these uses, the looping motifs echo climbing vines, delicate pen-and-ink illustration, and other garden imagery.
