Author's note

SM hollyisM by Dan Meyer of smashmethod is a free hand-painted brush font with broad, uneven strokes and an unruly silhouette that feels drawn in one fast pass. Its letters bend and lean at different angles, with blunt ends and pronounced changes in stroke width across the visible forms. Rounded shapes keep the writing approachable, but the loose construction still looks raw and immediate.

Young audiences are the clearest market for streetwear and music posters. On packaging and merchandise, the sweeping marks can become part of an illustrated scrawl or hand-drawn emblem rather than sitting apart as neutral product lettering.
