Author's note

SM obscenisM by Dan Meyer, known as smashmethod, is a free trash brush font with scraped, fast-moving letterforms. Its strokes shift from wiry cuts to dense brush swipes, leaving broken edges and scattered ink-like debris. The uneven shapes have the raw force of hand-painted lettering.

Underground music and streetwear audiences will recognize its abrasive DIY attitude in posters and merchandise. It also suits horror entertainment graphics, where the splashes and slashed contours can become part of the artwork. Album covers are its strongest setting.
