SM ownisM by Dan Meyer of smashmethod is a free hand-drawn brush font with loose, marker-like strokes. Its letters shift noticeably in width and pressure, producing an uneven silhouette that feels quickly written rather than carefully outlined. Rounded turns and blunt ends keep the shapes warm, direct, and plainly informal.
The wavering strokes share the rough line quality of doodles and simple ink illustrations. It suits children's posters and handmade food packaging. That drawn-by-hand construction links those projects with casual event graphics and playful, personal subjects.
